lyrics
Lead as you may, and for a time, their minds will not stray.
A path of mistrust, of violence and hate, in the words from above,
He will send you straight, to the pits of fire,
Their pitchforks held high, this hell is on earth,
And for blood, they will cry,
Out loud (out loud), for a new form of god,
Revolution, hear it come
Sticks and stones may break bones,
But these bloodstained walls, will not fade,
Into darkness, and out of sight,
We will make them aware of our plight
In the winds of change, you will see them unite,
Under covered moon, from a battle now past,
In the winds of change, and the fires that burn,
Under covered moon, a revolution unseen.
Time for change, has been foreseen, in this darkest hour,
Pray for the light, the warm embrace, escape the fate
Hammer of the gods, powers that be,
Are held tight in their hands (held tight in their hands).
For their soldiers, and their enemies,
We seek justice, it’s their turn to speak
Sticks and stones may break bones,
But these bloodstained walls, will not fade,
Into darkness, out of sight,
We will make them aware of our plight
In the winds of change, you will see them unite,
Under covered moon, from a battle now past,
In the winds of change, and the fires that burn,
Under covered moon, a revolution unseen.

Shylmagoghnar manage to be (almost) all things to all men and women: Vivid, dreamy, uplifting, storming, dramatic, vibrant, angry, resonant, soothing and of course skillful in composition and execution. What a find on Bandcamp! G Miller
Bought the newest album before this one, The Light That Shines, which did not leave the CD player for a number of days due to amazing riffs and vocals. This one has more melody in the vocals department and is just as good as the new album. Definitely a buy on first day of release type of album. metal29
An assembly line of crushing doom, blistering death-rock, and misery-laden black-metal, powered by a one-man torture machine. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 30, 2018
Emptiness fills The Void is an onslaught of relentless eargasm-inducing riffs. Stortregn manages to combine elements of black, progressive, thrash, and melodic death into a crushing, yet highly accessible extreme metal sound. The harmonic guitars often come in just at the right time to scratch that itch, taking the listener’s already-heightened level of excitement to stratospheric heights. Recommended for all metalheads. This could serve as a gateway into extreme metal as well.
