It hurts as it fades
The mind it stalls and decays
It dwells on for all it’s worth
In that time between its death and rebirth

It pulls froth through all it feels
Old scars mean more than time past to heal
A fracture in this shadow of earth
A two faced doll to question your worth

Turn it over and then scream out in fear
Turn it over run and hide it for years
You were just a little creature scared alone and unexposed
In this tomb, I shall atone

But don’t you fear the end
You’ve died before it’s fine
You’ve made your choice right now
At least, you think that was you.

Behind the eyes

Escape with drugs boys pills and detest
Build a construct to fool all but the best
But you’re not sure who’s fooled who that clearly
